Goodall Hospital Announces Women's Expo
Sanford, Maine - Goodall Hospital is pleased to announce it’s 3rd Annual Women’s Health Expo. This free, one-day event will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 8am to 3pm on the Goodall Hospital campus in Sanford.
The Women’s Health Expo features nearly 20,000-square feet of exposition space featuring 160 vendors of products and services especially for women and children. Vendors display and demonstrate their products, many offer free samples, and many have products that can be purchased. The Expo Area also features a large Demonstration Stage, with various demos – self-defense, yoga, kayaking, physical activity, and others – at half-hour intervals throughout the day.
A large Health Screening Area provides free health screenings for women of all ages. Screenings include blood pressure, cholesterol, bone density, memory loss, weight, and issues related to metabolic syndrome.
More than 3-dozen lectures are offered throughout the day. Topics include health and wellness, disease management, physical fitness, self-improvement, finance, gardening, and more.
The first 1,000 Expo Attendees receive a free Expo Tote Bag. Light snacks and beverages are provided free of charge throughout the day. Free parking and shuttle bus service is available. Free childcare services are available.
Goodall Hospital’s Women’s Health Expo is the largest such event in New England. Last year’s event attracted nearly 6,000 people from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, and New York.
