Goodall Hospital Wins 3 National Awards

SANFORD - Goodall Hospital was recently notified that it won three national marketing awards in the 5th Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA).  Overall, Goodall won two First-Place Gold Awards and one Third-Place Bronze Award. 

Goodall receive a Gold Award for it’s publication, Good Health Magazine.  Good Health beat out similar magazines from such prestigious organizations as Fairview Health in Minnesota (which came in second place) and The Lahey Clinic of Boston (which came in third place).  Good Health is published quarterly and distributed to households in the hospital’s service area.

A Gold Award was also received for the “collegiate design” logo sweatshirt that was created especially for Goodall Hospital employees.  The unique, colorful design beat out imprinted items from Humana Health (which came in second place) and Blue Cross/Blue Shield (which came in third place).   

A Bronze Award was earned for the “Of All The Pictures You Take” marketing campaign that was designed for Goodall’s new digital mammography service.  The campaign included print ads, radio ads, and posters throughout our facilities.  Goodall Hospital is the only hospital in York County to offer digital mammography.

The SIAA is a national competition of service industry advertising.  There were more than 2,000 entries from all 50 states and a national panel of judges selected the winners.  There are categories for major retailers, utility companies, universities, etc.  Other winners included Federal Express, American Eagle, Toyota, Delta Airlines, Princeton Healthcare, Hackensack Medical Center, and Temple University Health System, among others.

In the past two years, Goodall Hospital’s marketing department has won seventeen (17) national awards for its work promoting the facility.

Goodall Hospital is a 53-bed acute care facility located in Sanford, Maine.  In addition to inpatient services, the hospital offers excellent facilities for surgery, emergency medicine, radiology, laboratory, physical rehabilitation, occupational health, a pain management center, and more. The hospital also operates Goodall Express – the area’s newest walk-in center in Waterboro, Maine.
